Floats Trips

Our "On your own" Floats are very popular for those individuals who are familiar with kayaking and canoeing the Kansas River. You can access the river from our property and float on your own. The closest boat ramp is located at Kaw River State Park which is roughly a 4.5 mile float and takes between 3-4 hours. Kaw River Adventures does not provide canoes, kayaks or any other equipment. Fishing
​
The Kansas River offers some of the states best catfishing opportunities throughout the spring and summer months. On your own fishing is included with any cabin rental. We can point you in the right direction and give you tips on where to find big catfish.

Weekend Getaways
​
Looking for a relaxing weekend just a few minutes from Topeka? We offer weekend getaway packages which can include any of the recreational opportunities that we currently offer. Primitive camping is available or stay in a fully furnished cabin right on the bank of the Kansas River and take in the views of the surrounding wildlife, hillsides and farmland. Cabin Rental is $225 per night.
